By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms

As a psychotherapist using our platform, you acknowledge that: • You are a licensed mental health professional in good standing • You agree to maintain professional ethics and standards • You will provide accurate information about your credentials and qualifications • You understand that you are responsible for all therapeutic services provided through the platform

2. User Accounts and Registration

Both psychotherapists and patients must create an account to use our platform. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activities that occur under your account • Providing accurate and current information during registration • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
2.2 Account Security
We implement security measures to protect your information, but you must also take reasonable steps to protect your account. This includes: • Using strong, unique passwords • Not sharing your login credentials with others • Logging out after each session • Reporting any suspicious activity immediately
3. Professional Standards and Conduct
3.1 Psychotherapist Responsibilities
Psychotherapists using our platform must: • Maintain professional licensure and credentials • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards • Maintain patient confidentiality as required by law • Provide accurate and professional services • Not engage in any form of professional misconduct • Comply with all applicable healthcare regulations and laws
3.2 Patient Responsibilities
Patients using our platform must: • Provide accurate medical and personal information • Respect the therapeutic relationship and professional boundaries • Attend scheduled sessions and complete assigned activities • Comply with treatment recommendations • Not misuse the platform or its features • Report any concerns or issues promptly
4. Privacy and Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. • Both psychotherapists and patients' data is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws • We use encryption and secure technologies to protect sensitive information • Patient records and therapeutic communications are confidential • We comply with HIPAA and other applicable healthcare privacy regulations • You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information
5. Platform Services and Features
Our platform provides various tools and features for both psychotherapists and patients: For Psychotherapists: • Patient management and scheduling tools • Session documentation and note-taking • Treatment planning and care plan management • Analytics and reporting features • Communication tools for patient interaction For Patients: • Secure messaging with your psychotherapist • Session scheduling and management • Access to assigned activities and questionnaires • Progress tracking and mood monitoring • Care plan visibility We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.
6. Therapeutic Relationship
The platform facilitates the therapeutic relationship between psychotherapists and patients but does not replace professional judgment or establish a therapeutic relationship between the platform and users. • The therapeutic relationship exists solely between the psychotherapist and patient • The platform provides tools and infrastructure but does not provide therapeutic services • Psychotherapists are independent professionals responsible for their own practice • Patients understand that they are receiving services from licensed professionals, not from the platform itself • Emergency situations should be handled through appropriate emergency services, not through the platform
7. Consent and Authorization
By using our platform, both psychotherapists and patients provide consent for: • Collection and processing of personal and health information • Use of data for platform functionality and service delivery • Communication through platform channels • Recording of sessions and interactions (as permitted by applicable law) • Use of data for analytics and platform improvement (in anonymized form) Patients may grant specific consents to their psychotherapists for various purposes, including data usage, treatment plans, and communication preferences. These consents can be managed through the platform's consent management features.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the platform are owned by Mena Platform and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. • Platform content, including software, design, and documentation, is proprietary • Users may not copy, modify, or distribute platform content without authorization • User-generated content (such as notes, messages, or care plans) remains the property of users but grants us a license to use it for platform functionality • Psychotherapists retain ownership of their professional work and documentation • Patients retain ownership of their personal information and communications
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: • Mena Platform provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the platform • We are not responsible for the quality of therapeutic services provided by psychotherapists • Psychotherapists are solely responsible for their professional services and any malpractice claims • Patients are responsible for their own health decisions and the consequences of following or not following treatment recommendations • We are not liable for any technical issues, interruptions, or data loss
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for: • Violation of these Terms and Conditions • Professional misconduct or ethical violations (for psychotherapists) • Fraudulent or illegal activity • Failure to maintain required credentials or licensure (for psychotherapists) • Any activity that threatens the security or integrity of the platform Users may terminate their accounts at any time through their account settings. Upon termination: • Access to platform features will be revoked • Data retention policies will apply as described in our Privacy Policy • Psychotherapists must ensure continuity of care for their patients • Patients may request copies of their records before account termination
